After working for both large and small companies over the last 20-some-odd years in the areas of marketing, planning, and business management, I decided it was time for a change. Using my business experience and writing ability, I now help small businesses and nonprofit organizations close in on their objectives by building effective marketing, communication, and development strategies. In particular, I’m focused on working with nonprofits to identify and pursue funding opportunities that support their mission and programs.

Increasing brand and organizational recognition goes hand-in-hand with any growth strategy. Accordingly, I work with clients to build awareness through both press and social media campaigns. I subscribe to the philosophy that any good news is news that should be shared.

I also happen to have a great eye for layout and design—and a sixth sense about what just works. So, I’m able to offer my clients website, brochure, event invitation, business card, and newsletter design services that communicate what they do via words and images.

Basic bio? I was born and raised in Maine, having grown up in Falmouth and left only briefly to attend college in Vermont. I currently live in Wayne, Maine in a really nifty c.1838 post and beam New Englander that was originally a parsonage. When I’m not wrapped up in projects for clients or around my house, I enjoy being active outside skiing, golfing, kayaking, or hiking with my rescue-hound dog, Bailey.
